Terms and Conditions for Legal Services for Realtors

1. Services

We specialize in providing legal advice, contract drafting, and compliance assistance to real estate agents, brokers, and agencies (“Realtors”). Our services are tailored to support your transactions, ensure regulatory compliance, and mitigate legal risks.

2. Engagement and Fees

All engagements require a written agreement outlining the scope of work, timelines, and fees. Fees are calculated based on hourly rates or fixed fees as agreed. Invoices are payable within 14 days of issue.

3. Payment Methods

Clients may pay via bank transfer, credit card, or direct deposit. Late payments incur interest at a rate of 1.5% per month.

4. Refund Policy

Real Law Assist is committed to client satisfaction. If you are dissatisfied with our services, you may request a refund under the following conditions:

• Partial or Full Refund: Refunds are calculated based on work performed up to the date of the request. We will provide an itemized statement of services rendered.
• Request Period: Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of invoice date.
• Procedure: To initiate a refund, please complete our contact form and specify the nature of your request.
• Processing Time: Refunds will be processed within 14 business days after approval.
• Exclusions: Fees for court filings, external agency charges, or disbursements are non-refundable.
• Dispute Resolution: If a dispute arises concerning a refund, both parties agree to engage in good faith mediation before pursuing any legal action.

5. Confidentiality

We maintain strict confidentiality of all Client information. Our professional obligations and privacy policies protect your data under applicable Australian laws.

6. Limitation of Liability

Our liability for any claim arising out of or relating to our services is limited to the total fees paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Melbourne, Victoria.

8. Amendments

We may update these Terms at any time. The revised Terms will be posted on our website with the effective date.
